The Boulder Creek Jaguar Pride program was founded in 2004 and over the past eleven years has developed a tradition of musical excellence. The program has been and remains to be “a great work in progress.”

Under the current structure the Jaguar Pride Band program consists of six K-8 feeder schools, and one K-6 school. The high school program consists of 4 concert band ensembles, multiple percussion ensembles, several pep bands, and many other student-led chamber ensembles.

The marching band is a co-curricular organization that consists of all 9th through the 12th grade band members. The Jaguar Pride meets after school for rehearsals and performs at home and away football games as well as various Regional and State marching band contests. The Pride was named the recipient of the Arizona State "Coach Flemming" award in 2012. The band has also been a participant in the ABODA State Championships three times, placing 5th in the 2012 season.

The concert bands at Boulder Creek are the driving force of the program. The Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Bands continuously earn "Superior" and "Superior with Distinction" ratings at the area and state levels. The school band program also has produced several regional and all-state musicians in the last 6 years, including the top tuba player for the state the last four years.
